Protein Bars

This is a single recipe for an 8×8 pan, makes approx 9 bars. I usually double the ingredients and triple the protein (for a greater ratio) and use a 9×13 pan, makes approx 18-24 depending on how you cut them. Approx 20gm protein per bar if you do it my way.

2 scoops protein powder (I use choc and banana 3 of each)
1 1/2 c of dry instant oatmeal
2 tbsps ground flax seed
1c DRY non-fat milk
1c dried cranberries – mix these together so cranberries don’t clump together

1/4 c peanut butter (I always put in extra, love peanut butter)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2c water (more or less depending on how much protein powder you used)

**** wisk these together before adding to dry ingredients then mix everything together by hand****
it should be a pretty thick consistency

grease a nonstick pan and freeze for 1 hour… cut them and store in th refrigerator.

Remember to double everything if your doing it my way, and you can use whatever flavor protein you like, I just happen to like choc and banana with peanut butter.
